In the cooler waters offshore, larger grouper prowl the reefs of the Tampa - Saint Petersburg area. True trophies of size and taste, grouper provide an execellent quarry for a day on the water. Smaller pinfish and cut baits are the best choice this time of the year offshore. Inshore the sheepshead appear on the reefs and bridges of Tampa Bay. Mature (and tasty) squirrelfish school in the bay by the thousands offer great fun for the family.
